Glenn M. Race

While many lawyers never see a courtroom, Glenn spends much of his time in court arguing issues for individuals seriously injured as a result of negligence and safety violations.  He is a well-known and respected trial attorney with a track record of recovering millions of dollars on behalf of catastrophically injured individuals and their families.

Being in the courtroom comes naturally to Glenn, as he grew up watching and learning from his father, who was a respected trial attorney in New York City.  As a child, Glenn came to understand the importance of being an attorney and the impact that he could have on the lives of people who suffered from a tragic loss or catastrophic injury.

Upon graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Glenn was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where he served with distinction. In this capacity, he was given the responsibility of prosecuting violent felony offenses committed within the confines of the Bronx, including gun possession, pattern robberies and homicide. As a prosecutor, Glenn honed his skills as a trial attorney, earning the respect of both his adversaries and Judges in the courtrooms he practiced in.

In 2008, Glenn decided to take the skills and trial experience he earned as a prosecutor and devote his career to representing individuals and families who suffered catastrophic injuries due to the negligence of others. Glenn handles a wide range of serious injury cases including construction accidents, tractor-trailer crashes, wrongful death and premises liability.  He has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients and his cases have been reported in multiple media outlets including the New York Daily News, Bloomberg, New York Post, and ESPN.

Glenn is routinely recognized by judges and fellow attorneys for the substantial monetary recoveries he has achieved on behalf of his clients and he has been honored to have served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.  He is also a current member of the Million Dollar Advocates Form, which is reserved for a limited amount of attorneys who have obtained significant recoveries in the field of personal injury litigation.

Glenn is committed to giving back to his community in his personal time. He remains active in charitable organizations, including Island Harvest, which combat food insecurity and hunger affecting thousands of New Yorkers.

He and Cory Garcia, Esq., who served as prosecutors together in the Bronx, are now lead trial attorneys for the firm.
